Edit
Time Always Moving was written by Lee Neville over a relatively short period of time in early 2011. A number of changes took place in the idea and scripting stage. Lee Neville approached the original actresses Glenda Weedman, Krystal Connell and Karla Jenkins from Time Stops Moving about the possibility of creating a new story around the return of their respective characters Jenna, Sara and Terri. Karla Jenkins was the only one to express an interest in reprising her character Terri. Based on the fact that only one of the actresses was able to return, Lee Neville was inspired to create the theme of "the one who stayed", which became the main theme of the story. A script was written involving the characters of Adam and Terri. Unfortunately, due to a longterm work scheduling conflict that came about, Karla Jenkins was no longer able to take part. Neville therefore set about rewriting what was originally intended for the character of Terri into a new character called Kirsty, who would eventually be played by Olga Vanessa Aristodemou. Throughout the scripting and casting process the working title was 'Time Keeps Moving'. The working title was suggested by Shahin Najafipour who was a camera operator on Time Stops Moving. As with Karla Jenkins, Shahin Najafipour also expressed an interest in returning but was eventually unable to. Adrian Grieb who had served as production assistant on Time Stops Moving and Sing Me to Sleep, and who was to also be involved with the unproduced Fly with Me, was able to return for the sequel. The working title of 'Time Keeps Moving' later changed to Time Always Moving. The audition took place on Thursday, March 24 2011. A preliminary rehearsal took place shortly thereafter to help Lee Neville decide who would ultimately play Kirsty. Official rehearsals began on Wednesday, March 30th. Filming began on Friday, April 1st and concluded on Monday, April 4th. The short film was shot in London, United Kingdom.
