BackgroundEdit

Felicity Jackson posted on her Surviving Actors facebook page that Alan O'Duffy was looking for actors to create showreel material for his portfolio as a director and their portfolio as actors. Lee Neville responded to the post, and was thus asked to come up with some material. During the process it was decided to create completely new material which Lee Neville would write and Alan O'Duffy would direct. Three showreel scenes called Facebook & Girls, Ruining the Ending and Have to Say were written and shot. Two of these were performed with Stephanie Hampton who had previously auditioned for Lee Neville Entertainment short films Time Stops Moving and This Dark Place. Upon review of the edited showreel scenes by Alan O'Duffy, Neville decided that perhaps Facebook & Girls could become a micro short film, and so Neville attached an opening title and end credits- Facebook & Girls was born.
